The interests of this laboratory are on animal nutrition and/or management. Emphasis is to develop feeding and management programs that optimize performance and efficiency in livestock production systems.

1. Protein utilization and requirements as influenced by level and quality of dietary protein. Effect of environmental/dietary stress on animal performance. Evaluation and development of food wastes/by-products as animal feed.
2. Development and use of scrap paper in animal production systems.
